Where Nexus V2.0 Excels
Dual-sensor redundancy solutions built for code-compliant applications
Wastewater Pump Controls
Wastewater codes require two independent sensor technologies. Nexus is the only panel that integrates both in a single enclosure — eliminating the need to spec and coordinate two separate systems.
- One panel replaces two — dual-tech redundancy built in
- Frequency-based sensing won't foul in raw sewage
- Duplex pump alternation with HMI status display
- Single coordination drawing, single BMS point
Lift Station Controls
Lift station codes demand dual-sensor redundancy with independent technologies. Nexus delivers both in one panel — no mechanical floats to fail in raw sewage.
- Code-compliant dual redundancy in single enclosure
- No moving parts — frequency sensing survives raw sewage
- Lead/lag pump alternation extends motor life
- HMI shows real-time levels and alarm status
Fire Protection Tank Controls
NFPA 22/20 requires dual-sensor redundancy for fire suppression water storage. Nexus meets the code in one ETL-listed panel — simplifying your specification.
- NFPA 22/20 dual-redundancy requirement — built in
- ETL Listed (UL 508A) for fire protection applications
- Primary + secondary sensor in single NEMA enclosure
- BMS integration: BACnet, Modbus, dry contacts
HVAC Cooling Tower Controls
Chemically treated cooling tower water destroys conductivity probes. Nexus uses frequency-based sensing that won't foul — delivering 15+ years of maintenance-free operation.
- Frequency-based sensing — no fouling in treated water
- 15+ year sensor lifespan vs. 2-3 years for conductivity
- Optional dual-sensor for mission-critical data centers
- Maintains levels within 1/8" for optimal efficiency
Dual Functions. One Panel.
Every application needs a controller to act on level changes and an indicator to report tank status. The Nexus V2.0 collapses both into one enclosure — one coordination drawing, one BMS connection. Built-in failover means the indicator loop takes over automatically if the controller faults.
Multi-setpoint level control — pump sequencing, lead-lag alternation, high/low alarms. Operates autonomously, independent of BMS.
Recommended: frequency-based sensor.*

Continuous, real-time tank level on the built-in HMI touchscreen and fed to your BMS via BACnet or Modbus. Also serves as backup control source on primary fault.
*Why Frequency-Based Sensing?
The Nexus V2.0's level controller uses WLC's proprietary frequency-based technology — not conductivity. Here's what that means for your specification.
| Factor | Waterline Controls | Conductivity Systems (Warrick, Gems) |
|---|---|---|
| Core Technology | Frequency-based (software-driven) | Electrical conductivity between probes |
| How It Works | Probes don't conduct electricity - no deterioration | Passes 8-110VAC between probes through water |
| In Dirty/Hard Water | ✓ No fouling or buildup | ✗ Probes foul, pit, and deteriorate |
| Sensor Lifespan | 15+ years | 2-3 years typical |
| Recommended Maintenance | ✓ Zero | Periodic cleaning and replacement |
| Dual-Sensor Panel | ✓ Nexus V2.0 - Built-in | Requires two separate systems |
| Uptime | 99% (documented) | Varies by water quality |
| Warranty | 5 years | 1-2 years typical |
| Certification | ETL Listed (UL 508) | UL Recognized (component only) |

Inside the Enclosure: Modular by Design
Every Nexus V2.0 is built to your specification. Choose your sensor inputs, pump control logic, voltage, and connectivity — we engineer the panel to your application requirements.
Dual Sensor Inputs
Contact-Based + 4-20mA Analog
- WLC Frequency Sensor* (recommended)
- Float Switch or Conductivity Probe
- Pressure Transducer, Ultrasonic, or Radar
Both inputs active simultaneously — controller acts on level thresholds, indicator reports continuous range. Complementary sensing with automatic failover.
HMI Touchscreen
Real-Time Visibility for Both Loops
- Pump Status, Active Alarms, Operating Levels
- On-Site Diagnostics and Test Functions
- Single Display for Controller + Indicator Data
See both loops on one screen. Monitor, diagnose, and verify operation without opening the enclosure or connecting to BMS.
Duplex Pump Control
30A Relay Output → Dual Pump Operation
- Alternating, Simultaneous, or Lead-Lag Modes
- Balanced Run Times with Configurable Delays
- High/Low Alarms, Sensor Fault Detection
Operates autonomously — no BMS required. Configured to your voltage and pump FLA requirements.
Connectivity Options
Dry Contacts → BACnet/Modbus → LoRaWAN
- Standard Dry Contact Outputs to BAS
- BACnet or Modbus via Single BMS Address
- Optional LoRaWAN® Wireless Monitoring
One integration point for both loops. Add LoRaWAN for remote visibility and IoT network alerts — no hardwired infrastructure required.
